Welcome to Misty Forest Ikebana

Based in Perth (Western Australia), I teach Sogetsu ikebana and create stunning floral art for special occasions, bringing beauty and elegance to every arrangement.

To make our artwork more environmentally sustainable, wI use garden clippings and waste, and locally grown flowers as much as possible. Traditional ikebana methods for fixing branch constructions and self-made containers from recyclable packaging feature heavily in my work and I collect glass and ceramic containers from customers after the arrangement has wilted. I also preserve my own dry material and keep dried branch constructions for future use.

Misty Forest Ikebana Classes

As a registered Sogetsu ikebana teacher, I aim to inspire creativity and appreciation for the art of ikebana. I follow a carefully-designed Sogetsu curriculum which every student can work through at their own pace. My classes focus on helping students develop creative skills and approaches in a relaxed and friendly environment.
